Patient Registrar / Radiology Clerk, Imaging Services

The Patient Registrar / Radiology Clerk handles initiating check-in and admission processes across hospital services, verifies and updates patient demographics, completes registrations for Admission and Outpatient services, and performs PBX operator duties. Responsibilities include greeting patients, delivering professional customer service, verifying patient identity to ensure accurate medical records, handling insurance verification and billing support, and maintaining HIPAA privacy. Requires English fluency, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, comfort with electronic health records, and ability to adapt to changing volumes; roles include registration across multiple service areas (inpatient, outpatient, newborn, surgical day care, etc.), and performing related clerical tasks and departmental education as needed. Vaccination per policy and adherence to safety standards are required.
