Responsibilities include interviewing patients for demographic information, verifying insurance eligibility, data entry accuracy, and supporting clinical staff with paperwork. Requires professional communication, computer skills (Microsoft Office), strong typing, and the ability to manage time and tasks in a medical setting. Works Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday shifts; on-site at Pullman Regional Hospital and Palouse Health Center in Washington. Focuses on accurate data entry, collection of co-pays, and balance of end-of-day deposits, while adhering to hospital policies and quality/safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Strong typing speed
- Comfort in answering phones and speaking with customers
- Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
- Ability to read and write clearly, understand policies and written instructions
