Patient Registrar - PC

Register patients and manage financial obligations by obtaining and entering demographic, billing, and insurance information into registration and billing systems; provide information about insurance and hospital procedures, assist with pre-certification and authorizations, and prepare consent forms and privacy notices. Collect deposits, co-pays, deductibles, and patient liability payments; balance daily receipts and cash drawer; prepare armbands for patient identification and support hospital registration workflows. Schedule/reschedule/cancel appointments, verify orders, and maintain attention to detail while processing medical information and payments. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, basic medical terminology knowledge, and ability to follow procedures related to insurance requirements and payment processing.
