Job Summary
Greeting patients and visitors in the emergency department admissions area, collecting information about patient need for emergency care, and managing patient intake forms by explaining paperwork, ensuring completion, filing forms and protecting patient confidentiality. Performs administrative tasks such as answering the phone, filing paperwork, maintaining the admissions desk area, collecting payments and assisting visitors. Education requirement is a High School Degree or Equivalent; 0-6 months of work experience preferred. This role supports hospital admissions operations and patient support services across MUSC Health."
