Job Summary
Conduct outbound and inbound phone calls with prospective study participants, responding promptly to web inquiries and marketing-generated leads. Perform detailed prescreening interviews using approved study criteria to identify, qualify, and educate potential participants on CNS clinical research expectations. Build rapport and establish trust with individuals seeking treatment options, then schedule qualified candidates for screening visits with the research site. Document all patient interactions accurately within recruitment systems and CTMS/CRM, maintaining daily productivity and quality metrics while ensuring compliance with sponsor, IRB, and HIPAA requirements. Collaborate closely with Clinical Research Coordinators regarding scheduling and participant status, utilizing strong empathy and phone skills to overcome objections and drive enrollment goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of patient recruitment experience in clinical research
- Strong understanding of psychiatric and neurological terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, empathetic phone presence
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working toward daily and weekly performance metrics
- Ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously
- High attention to detail
- Reliable high-speed internet and distraction-free home office
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience recruiting for CNS clinical trials
- Experience with CTMS, CRMs, or patient recruitment platforms
- Experience using electronic prescreening questionnaires
- Knowledge of HIPAA and GCP principles
- Experience supporting multi-study recruitment pipelines
- Spanish-speaking candidates
