Patient Procedure Scheduler Oncology Part Time Days

The Patient Procedure Scheduler schedules surgical and pre-operative procedures, maintains calendars, verifies insurance information, obtains pre-certifications, and informs patients of financial responsibilities. Role may be cross-trained as a Patient Service Representative (check-in/out) or as a Patient Liaison (provider templates and patient correspondence). Responsibilities include registering and scheduling patients, informing patients of financial responsibilities, providing surgical and procedural information, obtaining/facilitating pre-certifications, maintaining calendars, answering inquiries, and performing other duties as assigned.
