Job Summary
Scheduling surgical and pre-operative procedures for Gastroenterology patients at Northwestern Medicine. Responsibilities include registering and scheduling patients, informing them of financial responsibilities, obtaining pre-certifications, providing procedural instructions, maintaining calendars, answering inquiries, and potential cross-training as a Patient Service Representative or Patient Liaison to cover check-in/out duties and provider templates. Must have a High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of healthcare experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred. The role is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position based in Huntley, IL with coverage travel to the McHenry clinic, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm.
