Patient Placement Assistant

Process admissions and related transactions within monthly QA thresholds for Bed Management, SMS, and survey systems. Collect demographic, insurance, and clinical information to place patients according to clinical guidelines, collaborating with the Patient Throughput nurse and escalating issues to the charge nurse. Handle all calls using Service Excellence-oriented call guides and flows, communicating professionally with patients, families, and staff. Assist the department manager in metric reporting using Excel or Word, maintain call levels based on telephone Quality Assurance data, and recognize problems to communicate them to the appropriate systems. Adhere to policies, attend required in-service meetings, and accept feedback from peers and supervisors.
