Patient-Patient Observer

Provide one-to-one observation with continuous visualization to ensure patient safety and prevent self-harm. Maintain a therapeutic environment by initiating activities, setting limits, and monitoring visitors under a Registered Nurse's direction. Notify staff of physical or psychiatric changes and collaborate on testing, consultations, and behavioral teaching. Complete required documentation including observation forms and safety checks, while following patient care plans to preserve dignity and autonomy. Manage crises, prioritize assignments, and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory codes.
