Patient Observer/Safety Aide (40hr, Rotating)

Patient Observer/Safety Aide responsible for constant observation to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients identified as at risk, under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Provides observation and may perform other ancillary activities; alerts RN to concerns, completes handoffs and required documentation, and maintains patient confidentiality. Must maintain active BLS certification; healthcare experience 0-1 years preferred; requires basic computer skills and strong communications and customer-service orientation. The role emphasizes patient safety, observation of changes in patient condition, and adherence to established procedures and education requirements. Pay range: $18.00–$24.23 hourly.
