Job Summary
Provide constant patient observation under the direction of a registered nurse, ensuring clear visibility of all assigned patients or conducting safety checks as directed. Upheld established customer service standards at all times while collaborating with healthcare providers. Requires current BLS certification and, for Behavioral Health or Emergency Department placements, non-violent crisis prevention training and volunteer experience with patients with mental illness. Walk up to 90% of shift; occasionally lift or carry up to 10 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare
- ADN nursing student with successful completion of medical/surgical practicum
- EMT certification
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT)
- Current BLS certification
- Volunteer or educational experience working with patients with mental illness
- Non-violent crisis prevention training
- Able to walk up to 90% of shift
