Job Summary
Respond to high volumes of inbound calls and inbox tasks efficiently, following standard operating procedures and approved protocols. Collaborate with pharmacists and providers to assist patients with prescription refills, prior authorizations, DME forms, and medication assistance programs. Schedule appointments per protocol, document all communications in the EMR, and accurately maintain patient medication profiles. Inform patients of lab results, escalate concerns to leadership, and coordinate care with external agencies and community resources. Maintain HIPAA compliance and current certifications while delivering superior, respectful customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to exercise independent judgement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Adaptable to learning new systems and continual changes in practice environment
- Team player with a customer-oriented approach and desire to assist people
- Problem-solving skills and ability to follow through on tasks assigned
- Certified Pharmacy Technician, Nursing license, or Certified Medical Assistant
- General computer skills
