Job Summary
Connect patients to relevant community resources, clinic providers, and staff under the Direct Supervision of the VP of Physician Services. Partner with patients, family caregivers, and community resources to enhance health, decrease readmissions, and increase satisfaction. Leverage strong phone and verbal communication skills, active listening, and customer support experience to manage time effectively while establishing relationships with staff and management. Maintain detailed organizational skills and adaptability to different personality types. Work part-time at OakBend Medical Center, an independent hospital providing exceptional care since 1950.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
- 3 years previous customer service experience
- Previous experience in a customer support role
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills
- Active listening
- Customer focus
- Adaptability to different personality types
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with staff and management
- Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on detail
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
