Job Summary
Monitor Tech role providing support services: monitor and interpret patient heart rhythms and vital signs, follow set algorithm parameters, interpret alarms and communicate with nursing staff, and may provide continuous observation of assigned patients. Responsibilities include basic computer keyboarding, updating/tearing down and assembling patient charts, calling other departments regarding tests/procedures, stocking supplies, and summoning nursing staff when assistance is needed. Shifts include 4, 8, or 12-hour rotations with evenings and nights, and every other weekend/holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED (GED) is required.
