Job Summary
Prepare food items for patients, cafeteria, and catering while accurately assembling trays and meeting standards for food quality, sanitation, and efficiency. Push carts to food pantries, units, or catering functions, wash dishes, and complete daily assigned kitchen cleaning in accordance with approved standards. Deliver all products according to the specific time schedule set for each item and make recommendations to Leadership for all menus. Utilize appropriate scripts to deliver excellent customer service to patients and families. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to work rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Drivers License
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Prior experience in Food Service
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
- Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
