Verify insurance coverage and eligibility through multiple channels, including payer contacts and electronic systems, while proactively addressing placement challenges to minimize wait times. Facilitate smooth patient transfers by collaborating with physicians, care managers, and referring hospitals, and monitor unit availability and cleanliness to expedite placements. Resolve delays impacting patient flow by escalating issues to the Transfer Center clinical team and mentor new employees. Analyze placement data to identify efficiency improvements and implement strategies for reducing wait times.
