Job Summary
Patient Liaison for a specialty pharmacy focusing on bridging connections between pharmacy, healthcare providers, and patients. Responsibilities include facilitating prescription access, benefits coordination, and payer/provider relationships to ensure timely processing and dispensing of medications. Emphasizes sales/marketing efforts to promote services, secure referrals, and enhance patient enrollment and medication access. Requires strong communication, clinical knowledge, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining customer satisfaction. May involve traveling to different offices within the assigned area and driving between locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years of pharmacy/medical work experience or related field
- Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects independently
- Understanding of product and payer reimbursement landscapes
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including medical offices, pharmacies, and insurance companies
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be willing and able to drive from office to office within the assigned area (TBD)
