Job Summary
Receive incoming phone calls to triage them to appropriate team members and schedule existing patient appointments. Greet patients for in-person appointments, manage check-in/check-out processes, and complete super-bills for non-surgical services while explaining fees and taking payments. Assist with end-of-day payment reconciliations, schedule follow-up appointments, and provide reminders via email, text, or call. Ensure the waiting room remains tidy and welcoming, and provide special instructions to patients upon leaving. Become an expert in practice software for communications and scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED at minimum
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Some office and/or retail experience
- Clinical knowledge of aesthetic and/or medical terminology
- Basic computer systems such as Microsoft and Google suites, as well as software programs for scheduling and organizing documents
