Job Summary
RN-led Patient Flow & Throughput Utilization Specialist supports Care Coordination to remove barriers to acute care progression and post-acute discharge planning, acts as primary liaison between clinical/operational areas and payer-related appeals to drive throughput and reimbursement, builds relationships with physicians and staff, participates in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement, and applies patient-experience tools in daily workflows, aligned with Hurley Family Standards of Behavior.
