PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICES SPECIALIST- South Miami

Register new clients on Intergy, research files for previous enrollment, and renew or update existing client profiles per Community Health guidelines. Perform financial screening on active clients, attempt collection of past due debts, and process patient payments while verifying Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance carriers. Check in and check out clients for medical services, review Quality Care Guidelines to identify overdue items, and provide necessary forms such as Advance Directives, Learning Needs Assessments, and PHQ-9 screenings. Complete and post all billing and encounter forms, balance daily batches, and submit cash and statistical data to the Accounting Department. Train new employees on Patient Services functions and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
