Job Summary
Patient Financial Services Representative for Pulmonary at Banner Health. Coordinates patient flow and financial processes by verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, determining amounts due, collecting payments, registering patients, checking in/out, scheduling appointments, and handling related administrative duties. Preferred candidate has experience with medical insurance and payment processing, and will support the Pulmonary service line across Loveland (1900 N Boise) with potential float to 1801 16th St., Greeley. Core duties include verifying insurance, obtaining pre-certifications/referrals/authorizations, calculating and collecting patient liability, posting payments, managing scheduling in coordination with payor provisions, and providing financial guidance to patients to maximize reimbursement, while maintaining compliance and effective communication with patients and care teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- knowledge of patient financial services or insurance processes
- ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- proficiency with common office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
