Job Summary
Conduct in-person and phone financial counseling for Essentia Health patients regarding payment options, Medicaid eligibility, and financial assistance programs. Perform account analysis to develop action plans for guarantors and resolve financial responsibilities, including self-pay liability price estimates. Assist with patient inquiries from the Patient Financial Services call center while demonstrating exceptional customer service skills. Requires two years of experience in financial counseling, self-pay collections, or billing. Compensation ranges from $18.71 to $28.07.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Financial Counseling, Self-Pay Collections, Call Center, Billing and/or Health Care
- Licensure/Certification
