Patient Financial Service Coordinator

Patient Financial Service Coordinator responsible for verifying hospice financial benefits and handling billing data for Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care claims; submit billing files, ensure HHA documentation and medication import data are entered into the billing system; maintain cash flow by meeting payer deadlines; verify payer file acceptance and obtain acknowledgment reports; perform insurance verifications, confirm eligibility and benefits with managed care, and utilize electronic claim entry systems including EMDEON Assist and CMS for Medicare verification; manage accounts receivable to support financial health and ensure timely reimbursements for patients and families.
