Job Summary

Patient Finance Specialist at Charlie Health responsible for welcoming admitted clients, building rapport, and coordinating care and finances throughout treatment. Acts as liaison between clients and internal teams (Admissions, Billing, Utilization Review, Outreach, Clinical) to ensure a seamless care experience, identify and address barriers to care, and communicate aftercare resources to families. Responsibilities include outbound outreach to ensure enrollment, explaining insurance benefits and financial enrollment, managing client scheduling, accurate documentation, adapting to organizational changes, and meeting KPIs related to appointments, financial agreements, and customer satisfaction. Requires strong communication, HIPAA knowledge, Salesforce/CRM proficiency, and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-capable role.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a customer/patient success or support role
  • 1-2 years of Salesforce experience (or equivalent CRM platform)
  • 1-2 years of experience using contact center technology
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer financial discussions (Health insurance knowledge a strong plus)
  • Strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures
  • Proficiency with cloud-based communication and software (Slack, G-suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom & EMR)
