Job Summary
Patient Experience Specialist at CHAS Health serves as the first point of contact, answering and directing incoming calls, coordinating referrals, and managing health records while delivering excellent customer service, determining callers’ needs, providing accurate information about CHAS Health, and supporting referral processing and health information workflows in a patient-centered, HIPAA-compliant environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Some college preferred
- Experience with databases, electronic health records, and release of information preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations required or preferred
- Excellent customer service, oral and written communications skills
- Compassion for patients
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and insurance (if applicable)
