Job Summary
Provide a welcoming first point of contact and ensure accurate patient registration, scheduling, and communication to give patients timely, respectful, and coordinated access to care. Represent CAN Community Health’s mission, vision, and values in all interactions; assist with billing duties including collecting co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances; verify insurance eligibility; explain billing policies and patient financial responsibilities; ensure compliance with billing regulations; collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to resolve discrepancies; schedule appointments and handle routine patient inquiries and front desk duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in healthcare administration or front desk environment
- Ability to handle patient payments and billing inquiries
- Accurate data entry and scheduling abilities
- Ability to verify insurance information and eligibility during check-in
- Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
- Strong communication and collaboration with Revenue Cycle Management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain professionalism
- Training and certification support provided
- Commitment to CAN Community Health mission and values
