Job Summary
Lead the Service Excellence Department as Clinical Specialist/Supervisor; a master’s prepared RN who guides patient and family experience practices with evidence-based methods. Provides education and implementation of best practices to improve patient-centered care, mentors the interdisciplinary care team, and collaborates with Frederick Health leaders to monitor experience outcomes. Utilizes LEAN/Six Sigma principles to implement initiatives, serves as a Press Ganey expert, analyzes experience data, and develops educational service initiatives. Oversees supervision of the Service Excellence staff, participates in hiring decisions, develops department policies, trains new hires, and coordinates budgeting related to Service Excellence. Requires strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, experience leading projects, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Schedule includes four 9-hour shifts weekly with on-call. Salary range: $77,084.80 - $123,323.20 annually, with pay based on experience and education.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in MD or Compact State
- Master’s Degree in Nursing Required
- National Certification in area of Service Excellence within two years of hire
- Five years of experience in Nursing, including two years of customer satisfaction/experience
