Job Summary

Manage patient and family conflict resolution by practicing active listening to ascertain core issues of dissatisfaction, effectively communicating follow-up requirements, and facilitating dialogue between patients and clinical personnel. Monitor the status of resolution strategies, identify trends in concerns, and notify management when patterns develop. Accurately document patient issues in a timely manner while ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations. Write appropriate correspondence, serve as a consultant for letter development, and identify situations requiring additional interventions from Risk Management. Work collaboratively with multiple departments to establish strong relationships within the multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Desired Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of customer service, hospital experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certificate in Patient Relations or Patient Experience Certification (CPXP)
