Transports patients to and from various departments in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains equipment to ensure proper working condition; cleans carts and wheelchairs; locates equipment and re-stocks oxygen for the next day; responds to code and provides assist with proper equipment. The role requires BLS certification after hire for certain locations and involves night shift duties. Works as part of a high-reliability healthcare team focused on safety, quality, and efficiency in patient transportation. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
