Job Summary
Answer incoming calls and perform scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments within established protocols. Determine request handling using expert questioning to schedule, refer to specific clinics, or escalate to nurses for immediate attention. Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information while attempting to resolve issues during the call. Manage referral work queues and provide supplemental inbound support during high volume times, prioritizing based on patient needs. Escalate scheduling or insurance issues to supervisors for resolution and consistently meet productivity and quality standards. Establish and maintain appointment scheduling protocols with designated clinical partners.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous general computer experience with data entry
- Ability to hear normal conversation
- Good general near and peripheral vision

Desired Qualifications
