Job Summary
Coordinate patient engagement in a fast-paced medical clinic: greet patients and callers, complete patient registration and insurance verification, manage multiple phone lines, collect payments, schedule follow-up appointments and manage referrals, handle medical records (fax/scan), keep front office organized, and support overall clinic flow while demonstrating strong customer service, multitasking, and adaptability. CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) and ability to pass a background check are required; knowledge of Occupational Medicine is a plus. This is a full-time role based in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Knowledge of Occupational Medicine is a plus
