Job Summary
Greet patients and welcome them into the office; schedule appointments by phone and in person, register new patients, collect co-payments or balances, input insurance information, scan IDs/insurance cards, check patients in and out, and assist providers as needed. Responsible for handling calls, scheduling follow-ups, filing and chart-related tasks, and supporting office staff to ensure timely patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Working knowledge of how a medical office runs
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment
