Job Summary
Patient Educator at Gulf Coast Spine responsible for educating patients on procedures, preparing and processing medical records and forms, performing tasks such as EKGs and vitals, scheduling and coordinating with the care team, assisting in the office, and traveling to other locations as needed to support a patient-centered spine surgery clinic.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- BLS Certificate
- Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Current License in the state of Florida
- Experience as an EMT or Medical Assistant (preferred)
- 1 year of relevant call center or medical experience preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service required
- 1 year of medical terminology preferred
