Job Summary
Expands patient education across rare disease contexts in hematology and nephrology; engages patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams; conducts regional patient education events and infusion-site education; ensures REMS compliance, staff training, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize patient outcomes; travels to infusion centers and HCOs to deliver disease-state and product education, support REMS activities, and build rare-disease advocacy partnerships; requires BA/BS and 5+ years in healthcare/biotech, with significant field-based responsibilities and travel; strong presentation, communication, and program-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required; nursing/allied health/rare disease support background desired
- Minimum 5 years total business experience in healthcare/biotech
- Ability to travel 60-80% within territory; evenings/weekends as needed
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience with infusion products; REMS understanding
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
- Certified REMS training or understanding of pharma regulations favorable
