Job Summary
Communicate between nursing units and the Food Service Department regarding patient menus, diet changes, and general services. Read patient menus twice daily, edit selections to meet dietary restrictions, and organize diet orders in a timely manner. Assemble trays and deliver meals to patient rooms and nursing units, occasionally preparing salads, desserts, and beverages. Assist supervisors in daily operations, customer service recovery, and onboarding new associates. Requires one year of healthcare food service experience. Rotating weekend basis.
