Job Summary
Greet patients and customers as they enter the Stanton Optical store, identify patient needs, and facilitate sales by promoting available promotional products and services. Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, complete pre-tests (including noncontact tonometry auto refraction, visual acuity, color test, stereopsis, amsler grid), obtain medical history, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of eyeglasses by assembling lenses into frames and edging stock lenses. Maintain brand standards in both the lab and store areas, assist management with patient complaints, provide problem-solving support, and ensure all patient expectations are met. Foster a strong partnership between the retail and professional services teams, monitor delivery times, and perform additional duties as needed. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Active listening, ability to build rapport and empathize with patients
- Collaborative spirit and ability to maintain respectful relationships with team and patients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
- Passion for customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive demeanor
