Job Summary

Greet patients and customers upon entry to facilitate sales while gathering necessary information to ensure an easy and memorable experience. Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, and complete pre-tests including noncontact tonometry, visual acuity, and color tests. Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services by assisting with complaint resolution and informing management of job statuses. Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time. Maintain brand standards through basic housekeeping and lab area compliance, while tracking delivery time commitments to ensure 100% service compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program
  • 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
  • Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
  • Ability to implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with patients
  • Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
  • Collaborative spirit while building respectful and cordial relationships with team and patients
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to maintain a positive demeanor
