Job Summary
Patient Coordinator in Raleigh Radiology facilities and Wake Forest outpatient centers, responsible for acting as a professional liaison between patients and families, greeting and checking in patients, collecting and entering demographic, clinical, billing, and insurance information, explaining processes, obtaining signatures, scheduling appointments with clinical staff, collecting co-pays and deductibles, and ensuring accurate account registration and final billing. Requires excellent communication, confidentiality, organization, teamwork, and ability to work with patients, families, visitors, and staff; emphasizes patient care, policy adherence, and a service-oriented demeanor. Education: high school graduate; experience in healthcare and insurance administration; valid driver's license. Eligible for a 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Monday–Friday schedule with a preference for accuracy and professional interaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- 1-year experience in a healthcare environment
- 6+ months of Medical Insurance experience
- 6 months of healthcare industry experience (Hospital, doctor's office, insurance provider)
- Valid Driver's License
