Job Summary
Coordinate home infusion nursing schedules and support patient care on the nursing team. Greet and assist patients, doctors, or nurses by phone in a friendly and professional manner; manage calls, texts, and emails related to Prosper Infusion; document questions and notes in medical records; triage and route information to appropriate departments; identify and communicate orders needing attention to staff; participate in staff and patient-care meetings and ongoing education with demonstrated competency; adhere to infusion-therapy policies and procedures; stay current with developments in home infusion therapy; apply problem-solving and critical thinking to promote positive patient outcomes; demonstrate strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Top notch customer service
- Must understand computer technology
- Previous experience at a specialty pharmacy preferred
- One-year experience in a retail pharmacy or specialty pharmacy preferred
