Handle incoming phone calls to schedule patients and verify insurance eligibility while collecting co-payments and updating accounts. Coordinate desired schedules with providers to fit patient needs, confirm appointments, and direct arriving patients to waiting areas with updated time information. Maintain the patient care database by entering new information as it becomes available. Follow policies and procedures to protect self, co-workers, and patients from the spread of bloodborne and/or airborne diseases. Partner with the back-office team to educate patients on financial options for optimal oral health.
