Handle incoming phone calls to schedule patients, verify insurance eligibility, collect co-payments, and update patient accounts. Coordinate desired schedules with dentists and hygienists to fit patient needs while maintaining the patient care database. Direct arriving patients to waiting areas and provide updates on expected wait times. Follow policies and procedures to protect self, co-workers, and patients from bloodborne and airborne diseases. This role requires strong phone etiquette, communication skills, and computer proficiency.
