Job Summary
Coordinate patient recruitment, scheduling, travel, lodging, and medical records for research study participants in Bethesda, MD. Serve as a liaison for patients, caregivers, and clinical staff by responding to inquiries, triaging concerns, and routing issues appropriately. Maintain patient records, medical documentation, and appointment databases in EMR systems while troubleshooting scheduling conflicts and ensuring data integrity. Create reports and tracking tools to support protocol management and clinic workflow enhancements. Obtain external medical records and imaging studies for departmental review. This full-time role supports quality improvement and outpatient trial conduct for Guidehouse, a global AI-led professional services firm delivering advisory and managed services to healthcare and national security sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Minimum of ONE(1) year of related patient coordination, medical administration, healthcare operations, clinical research support, or administrative experience
- Experience coordinating patient appointments, travel arrangements, lodging, and transportation logistics
- Experience maintaining patient records, medical documentation, and filing systems
- Knowledge of clinical protocols and medical terminology
- Strong customer service and patient-facing communication skills
- Experience preparing reports, spreadsheets, and tracking tools using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD 'public trust'
