Job Summary

Greet patients with courtesy, manage check-in and check-out processes, and schedule appointments while verifying insurance and collecting payments. Maintain patient confidentiality, update and file medical records in the NextGen EMR system, and request or forward records from referring physicians. Answer incoming calls, make outbound confirmations, and ensure all data integrity and HIPAA compliance standards are met throughout daily transactions. This role supports the Physician Group and Clinical Staff with patient flow at various Georgia Urology locations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • some college
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Healthcare setting
  • Proficiency and working knowledge of medical software applications, e.g. EMR
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • A valid State of Georgia Driver's License
  • reliable transportation
  • Must be flexible and available to work at different locations throughout Georgia Urology

Desired Qualifications

  • some college preferred
  • Excellent organizational, time management and follow through skills
  • Must be able to interact with team members in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
