Job Summary
Greet patients with courtesy, manage check-ins and check-outs, and schedule appointments while verifying insurance and collecting payments. Maintain patient data integrity by updating files, forwarding medical records, and scanning information into the NextGen EMR system. Confirm scheduled appointments via incoming and outbound calls, ensuring all prior authorizations are processed before visits. Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards throughout all transactions. Requires a valid Georgia driver's license, proficiency in EMR and Microsoft Office, and experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Available to work across different locations within Georgia Urology.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Healthcare setting
- A valid State of Georgia Driver's License
- reliable transportation
- Proficiency and working knowledge of medical software applications, e.g. EMR
- working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Must be flexible and available to work at different locations throughout Georgia Urology
