Patient Coordinator

Job Summary
Greet and assist patients, customers, and visitors in person and over the phone while performing patient registration in various systems. Answer all phone calls professionally, collect monies for time-of-service patient responsibility, and verify insurance coverage or obtain prior authorization. Prepare patient records, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate documentation of visits in electronic systems and on written documents. Provide preliminary and post-procedure instructions, transport patients to/from exam rooms, and assist with patient transfers. Maintain a clean, organized work area, order supplies, and prepare mobile units for transport. Work Monday through Friday from 12:30pm to 9pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- CPR Certification (for Mobile Radiology and Oncology)
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to work at several locations
- Local travel
- The COVID-19 vaccination
- Pre-employment background check
- Drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Six months customer service or related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Bilingual in Spanish
- CPR Certification (for Fixed Radiology)
