Job Summary
Engages with patients recommended for IT therapy (SCIT OR SLIT) to convert them to adherence of treatment recommendations; schedules patients to begin IT Therapy; sets up payment plans during the IT Therapy conversion process; conducts patient follow-ups to ensure scheduling or declines; communicates with multiple departments via spreadsheets; proficient in Excel and Availity Essentials; speaks professionally to patients regarding next steps to convert patient care to a plan; interacts with various payer types (Medicare, Medicaid, Dual, Commercial, Managed Care, and Advantage) across multiple states; adheres to SOPs and regulatory standards; supports revenue cycle activities including admission, billing, payments, and denials; required to understand and operate within the patient engagement and IT therapy conversion workflow; remote work option available for this role.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of recent AR experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficient with Microsoft applications
- EMR experience – 2 years
- Experience working with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume, multi-provider practice
- Understanding of the Revenue Cycle, including admission, billing, payments, and denials
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Some onsite training may be necessary
