Job Summary
Engage patients in a polite, prompt, and compassionate manner during all practice-based interactions while performing clerical functions including check-in, registration, eligibility verification, and appointment scheduling. Deliver waiting room concierge service and support kiosk check-in processes. Facilitate practice opening and closing procedures, manage incoming mail and faxes, and handle cash management and reconciliation. Address patient inquiries regarding forms and medical records, and partner with Access Center specialists to connect time-sensitive clinical inquiries to the care team. Maintain a solution-oriented mindset to anticipate patient needs by collaborating across departments. Requires extended sitting, standing, and walking up to eight hours, with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. High school graduation required with one year of practice-based experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum one year practice-based experience or in a similar healthcare setting

- Occasionally push wheelchairs with patients weighing up to 325 pounds
- Regularly requires ability to stoop, bend and reach above shoulder level
- Requires ability to hear normal conversation and good general, near and peripheral vision
