Job Summary
Handles patient collections for a durable medical equipment distributor. Responsibilities include contacting patients/guarantors to secure payments based on an aging report, addressing declined credit card payments, following up on refunds, updating patient/guarantor insurance and demographics information, submitting or resubmitting claims, establishing and following up on payment arrangements, and documenting all calls and actions in the appropriate systems. The role is full-time and on-site in Tracy, CA, with opportunities for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Must excel in interpersonal communication, customer service and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must excel in organizational skills.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
- Education, Training, and Experience
- Required: High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must type 25-45 words per minute.
