Job Summary
Delivers staff training on nursing service requirements, including onboarding training for Mental Health Technician (MHT) and related waivered testing, with both virtual and in-person sessions. Provides MHT preceptorship support on unit as directed by Nursing Services Education leaders, ensures training materials comply with regulatory requirements and Rogers policies, and contributes to ongoing content improvement. Requires strong group facilitation, presentation, and communication skills; proficient use of Microsoft Office 365 apps (Teams, Plans, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to work in a collaborative team. Certifications required after hire include CBRF Trainer (WI), Nonviolent Crisis Intervention©, and CPR Instructor Certification. A valid driver’s license and insurable status are also required, with benefits including health/dental/vision, 401(k), life/disability, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree OR six (6) years equivalent experience (group facilitation, training, and/or related behavioral health experience)
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention© (required after hire)
- Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Trainer for the State of Wisconsin (required after hire)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Instructor Certification (required after hire)
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be granted insurable status by the Rogers Memorial Hospital insurance policy
