Job Summary
Unit Secretary with PCT duties in Orthopedics; schedule is 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with occasional later start times. Performs treatments and patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture; responsive in clinical emergencies; supports quality standards and improvement efforts; follows isolation guidelines and safety protocols; maintains a clean, safe environment; assists in delivering patient care under the direction of a registered nurse; documents and reports procedures; participates in nursing history collection and identifying patient needs; communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team; contributes to overall team care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
- 1+ applicable PCT experience
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS) Cert (Required)
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or CPCT/A or Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) (Required)
